I am very excited about our Christmas promotion this year. Starting Black Friday (November 25th) through December 24th we will be offering a 1" stainless cuff bracelet and Nickel-plated Christmas Ornament with a handwritten message for $145.
For 7 months Evins Wall and I had a hard time making this dream happen. In February of this year we made our first successful bracelet using a message my 9 year old son, Christopher, had written to his Mother. It said simply "I Love You". We made two bracelets, one for my wife and one for display in the store. I posted a picture of the bracelet on our Face Book page and a few days later a young lady walked in with a letter.
This letter was written by her husband who had passed away from Cancer several years ago. The letter was written to their daughter who was turning 15 the next day. From the letter we were able to put "Love Daddy" on a bracelet. The mother wept when she saw it. It was a painfully beautiful moment. I have sold some large jewelry items over my lifetime but I have never felt a sense of providing value that comes close to what happened that day.
We have been able to pull handwritten messages off of photographs, greeting cards, letters, and signed documents. I had a Grandmother come in with a sonogram. Her son and his wife were expecting their first child. We were able to put the baby's heartbeat on a sterling dog tag necklace for her son to wear in Afghanistan.
